Centro de formação profissional de Budo-Budo initiated its activity in February 2002. integrating components of professional training and insertion in active life. It develops 6 Measures of Professional Training  and Employment, such as:

• professional learning

• Initial Qualification

• Employment Qualification

• Professional Enhancements

• Support to Self-Employment and Entrepreneurial Creation

• Professional Internships

Thus, it became one of the main public institutions in the creation of a local development model, through human and professional resources qualification necessary to the structural development of the Sao Tome and Principe economy.

The  Centre for Professional Training includes resources such as communication and customer service to the public, management of human resources, plumbing techniques, advanced IT, installation and repairing of cold appliances, and so much more. 

Centro Politécnico de formação profissional Brasil- São Tomé e Príncipe offers courses of professional qualification that aim to prepare youth for the working sphere in a dynamic and practical way.

Some of the courses offered by the centee have professional developments towards construction carpenteer, locksmith, baker and pastry cook, automotive electrician, automotive/motorcycle mechanic, and more. 

The center has various installations that allow students to put into practice the theory gained in the courses. This includes:

• A nutrition laboratory

• An IT laboratory

• A locksmith workshop

• A mechanical workshop

• A carpentry workshop

At the end of each course, the students receive a certificate according to the training effected.

The Youth Institute is an educational establishment that implements the policies of the Ministry of Youth and Entrepreneurship of São Tomé and Príncipe, such as: 

• National Youth Policy/Strategy

• Youth Leadership

• National Youth Action Plan

• Youth Associations

• Youth Interaction Center

The Youth Institute, as part of the Ministry of Youth and Entrepreneurship, carries out all the activities included in the youth policy and strategy through an action plan. Activities include life skills training, awareness campaigns against early pregnancy, sexual reproductive health, rehabilitation of youth interaction centers, the Covid-19 action plan, advocacy, etc.
